We strongly believe any country's progress and future are dependent on access to quality education for ALL children.
While COVID-19 brought an unprecedented shift in learning modalities and widened the learning crisis, DMC continues efforts on the ground to bridge the learning gap, promote awareness on lack of education, and support children from low-income backgrounds to continue their learning.
Ongoing efforts
- Education assistance: Through 'Akshara Jyothi,' an initiative to fund high-school education for high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds.
- Capacity building to improve access to education: Through 'Project Nuh,' an initiative to promote and build education capacity in 'Nuh,' a district with the lowest literacy rate in Haryana.
Achievements
- Since January 2021, DMC has funded 10+ students' primary and secondary school education.
- Provided 20+ smartphone devices and laptops to children lacking access to online education.
